Strengths
Once we had shared our pitch we felt that we had many strengths. One of our main strengths was that we had a good idea and story line. Both of our teachers agreed that using the montage would be a good opening for a rom com. They liked our use of research of the genre and the way that we was researching the conventions.
Weaknesses
In our group we and the teachers agreed that the main weakness we came across was that the two main characters were very similar and the audience would find this difficult to distinguish between them. So with Mr Lawes' constructive criticism we are going to change the characters personalities hugely for example a Lawyer and a Primary School teacher.
Opportunities
Our main opportunity is to make a successful montage that will fit to our genre. Also by making our characters different we have the opportunity to get our audience engaged with the relationship between the females.
Threats
The one threat we have is that there is a risk of the conversation not being interesting enough to engage the audience. We need to make it up beat and believable so its not boring and more believable.
