This shows evidence of using match on action as it focuses on the character walking towards the door, then the character with her hand on the door opening it, then her walking away from the door. We should have maybe recorded the character walking towards the camera towards the door, then when the door was opened, her walking away from the door.

We used 180degree rule as we didn't go over the line that we created during the recording of the task.
In this group I had a small role, I filmed a part and also edited a small part. I prefer to record rather than to edit but I know that I need to have a role in both. The piece that I filmed didn't end up going into our piece as when we was at the rushes stage in editing we realised that it didn't fit and we had enough footage for our piece to be complete. I edited but cutting down the footage after the rushes stage but I wasn't very confident as I haven't used this software before.
I am going to try and be more creative in the ideas and try to put a twist in the script as I believe it was kind of predictable. I need to consider the shots that were used as our task looked like something was missing and we came to a conclusion that it was the lack of different shot types. We could have used different misc-en-scene which would make the whole piece more interesting. I have learnt about the different features of iMovie and hope to have more of an input into it in the final piece. We did succeed in meeting the brief as we included the requirements. We made sure that we recorded each shot at least twice so we knew we had sufficient amount of filming and we had backup and a range of the cuts to use.
